Francesco di Leo is a Corleone native resident, the son of Gioachino di Leo Russo and Lucia Lanza, who married in 1773. He is named after his paternal grandfather.
Francesco marries Vincenza Tinnirello, daughter of Gaetano Tinnirello and the late Felicia Paternostro, on 20 February 1803. His parents have died by this time.[1]
Francesco and Vincenza have at least four children: Lucia (c. 1805), Gioachino (c. 1807), Felicia Maria (c. 1813), and Arcangela (c. 1815).
Gioachino marries Carmela Maringo on 23 October 1831.[2] His mother's surname does not appear in this record: it is known from the marriage record of Gioachino's sister, Felicia Maria.
Arcangela marries Giuseppe Paternostro on 22 February 1835. This record spells her surname "d'Aleo."[3]
Felicia Maria marries Giuseppe Provenzano on 22 January 1838. Her parents have died by this time.[4]
Lucia dies at the reported age of 54 (b. 1805) in Corleone on 16 December 1859. She is predeceased by her parents and her husband, Antonino Cutrone.[5]
Death
Francesco dies at the reported age of 50 on 18 July 1837 in Corleone. Vincenza survives him.[6]
